On Friday 3rd February, Adam F will be teaming up with the Cheap Thrills label gang to make his debut in London’s favourite basement nightclub The Nest.

Joining the line-up and assisting in this night of genre-mashing euphoria will be Cheap Thrills head honcho Hervé, supported by a selection of the labels most prolific artsits. From the low-end, emo-vocals of Detboi to the more hard-edged club music of Baxta, the dance floor will be jumping from start to finish. Live electronica comes in the form of solo producer Crewdson, whose remix work under the Slowfoot Records imprint is garnering great online support, and the tribal chanting songstress, Femme.

The all-conquering, record-breaking, world-famous Breakbeat Kaos crew come with yet another added dimension to the label as they welcome on board the four man, bass-strong Pixel Fist outfit. Made up of names that have been familiar with D&B fans for years, Pixel Fist is the relatively new dubstep project from Audio, Mackie, Lorne and Stapleton MC. Having already amassed an array of well received releases including a huge remix for Noisia, Pixel Fist look set to add to the momentum throughout 2011 with a wealth of material already lined up. This is the first of it, you’d better be ready!

The perfect set intro marks the start of ‘Seduction’ with panning, filtered pads that fly around the mix as the huge vocal sets the mood for the onslaught that’s just around the corner. As it drops the bounce is unstoppable with a driller-killer bassline and naughty fills that’ll have the club screaming for the rewind! The return of the intro theme for the breakdown gives some welcome respite before we’re launched back into the ultimate seduction with a break switch-up that’s sure to please. Nasty.

As we move onto the flipside ‘Tweaky’ shows the guys flexing their bass muscles once more with a gruesome mix of dark vox and thick heavy drums over punked out b-line stabs. Wait for the old-skool amen tear-out though, that’s where this one really busts up the place!
